I really like the theme for this week’s photo challenge – Hands .This is a picture of my Sister during her Engagement party . That was the first time we both actually tried out ‘proper’ Mehndi designs .. Mehndi is a traditional part of many Indian weddings .(You can read about it here .
Another picture of my cute little cousin’s tiny hands ..
Awesomeness! š

Your sister’s hands are simply beautiful. They’re beautiful in themselves, and the composition, with the Mehndi pattern all the way down the wrists, with her glass bangles, is so pleasing. Beautiful:)
Can’t get enough of glass bangles.. They make a style statement of their own . Thanks for stopping by š š
Really nice photos.
Thanks š
Wow, I love both of them.
Thank you š
The Mendhi is stunning in itself, but the composition of your photo is just right in how it accentuates the art.
Sorry…”Mehndi.”
That’s ok . Although we actually pronounce it with an extra “H” sound .. š
Thank you for the kind words :).. Mehndi as such is a wonderful art š
beautiful!! :))

Beautiful hands! Doesn’t the application tickle? My mother would always tell me with pain comes beauty when she would brush my hair as a child. I would rather endure tickling than pain.
Not much actually but the hands get really cold ..:)
